ANTHROPOCENE 04
The Anthropocene collection features eleven curvaceous forms hand sculpted coil by coil then enveloped by thousands of individually placed perforations in porcelain. This series of works is a visual elegy imbued with hope, coalescing humans and nature.
This work was a highlighly commended finalist in the 2022 Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize.
The collection is unglazed allowing the matte texture of the clay.
Each piece is a one of kind sculptural vessel bringing a sense of serenity to any space, styled individually, as a pair or larger grouping.
Please note this form has small fissures caused during the kilning process on the base of the work.
